XFS 56 Organized Chaos Recap

I think this image captures the essence of every MMA victory. This one happened to be a bit more sweet simply due to the fact that 1) Josh Wick is only 16 years old, 2) his opponent Dominic Pierson was a solid opponent, and 3) it was for the Jr. BANTAM-WEIGHT title!

It was one of many hard-fought match-ups that entertained over 4000 people in attendance. There were a total of 7 MMA fights and one last-minute kickboxing fight. Here are the results for the night of MMA action!

~ Mazir Sobbi over Sam Olvera via Triangle Choke Round 1
~ Josh Wick over Dominic Pierson via TKO Round 2 (Title Fight)
~ Mark Burkhart over Omar Castro via Unanimous Decision
~ Kyle Grayson over Robert Bell via Unanimous Decision
~ Chuck Fordyce over Chase Cowin via Split Decision (Title Fight)
~ Lowell Urwin over Juan Iracheta via Unanimous Decision (Title Fight)
~ Nate Decker over Alex Lambert via Choke Round 1 (Title Fight)

I didn't get the names for the Kickboxing match, and I apologize. It was announced as we were all leaving the event, so I was more focused on pictures than anything else. That being said, congratulations to all the fighters, and be sure to click over to www.beaustilescreative.com for images from all the fights. Once again, Beau Stiles Creative has captured the best MMA images of all the action that you will find anywhere!

Organized Chaos 2.0 (or XFS 56)

Yup, calling it 2.0, you know, with the reschedule and all. But look on the bright side-the Steelheads won their first round of games, and are still in the hunt, and the fighters for XFS 56 got another week to prepare (so hopefully that will mean less last minute drops).

I know there are to be several belts up for grabs, as well as some international action on tap. What interests me the most is the crowd... can we get a 5000? I hope so. Local MMA needs a lift, and nothing like 5000+ MMA fans to lift you right up, especially as the intense action in the cage gets everyone's blood pumping!

Beau Stiles Creative will be there, capturing all the action and excitement from cageside. Look for images and a brief write-up after the event. Until then...
